As an avid audio and video collector, I was able to track down the person that recorded many bands in Frenso, CA. It just so happens that this guy recorded KISS in 1979. Getting the show directly from the source proved to be a nice upgrade. Having already read KISS Alive Forever, I knew Curt would want a copy of the show. I thought that including him in on this deal would lead to a friendship

After hearing back from the owner of the tape, here my friend and I are discussing deals on the price and deciding that the show should be gifted to Curt in order to get in his good graces

Curt tried to get me to purchase the I video before selling on eBay. A friend and I were discussing how silly this was. Curt would frequently reach out and try to collect money to buy rare shows.

I was a member of a bootleg trading group on Facebook. Many of us began interacting with a guy named Mike Lockhart, but after speaking with him we discovered this was actually Roy Damm. The man in the photos here is Roy. Why would "Mike" be sending photos of Roy? Simple, there is no Mike, only Roy using fake names. This conversation Roy had with a member who then sent it to me.

Roy is a long time defender of Curt and would frequently go online and defend his friend. On August 10, 2022 at around 5:20PM EST I received some texts from "Mike Lockhart" but as seen above we know these are the same people. This is just one example of Roy's threats.

My second fan-film KISS at Midnight was released in June 2019. As with the first, most of the footage came from officially released KISS home videos or the VH1 documentaries from  the early 2000's. Apparently, Cooch didn't like that a clip was included that he claimed ownership of. Harassing texts and emails followed. 

Curt refused to provided any type of proof of ownership. This was long before he figured out how to manipulate the YouTube and Vimeo system. I didn't make any changes and just ignored his text and emails. 

I re-released The Greatest Show on Earth in October 2019. These emails came around that time. Sadly this is one of the other things I cannot pinpoint an exact date.

Just so there's no confusion either, all my edits and films were uploaded to YouTube for free. They were never sold or distributed for any type of profit. Curt is seen here demanding money.

I had a little fun responding him. In retrospect, I should have just ignored his claims. I do regret this and the escalation it caused.

By this point, I was not taking any phone calls from him. 

I always considered my works much more grand than normal YouTube videos. I saw them as fan-edits or fan-films like other popular Star Wars and DC Comics fan works. All operated without legal opposition. No proof of ownership ever came and at the time all my movies stayed up on YouTube and Vimeo

Dave Streicher, who did many transfer for Curt tried to settle the disagreement between Gurt and I. I eventually ended up calling him around this time and I thought everything was settled.

Later on, the files on Curt's drive listed Dave in many of them.

The popular KISS podcast I co-founded KISS My Kollectibles shared a demo reel for the Rock and Roll Over Album.

These demos had been appearing in trading circles, and while I was a part of the Podcast at this time, these demos did not originate from me.

Fast forward to August 2021, for no reason at all, Curt blamed this on me and claimed he had a recorded phone call. He never did. 

The most interesting part to this is these demos were played for me in 2010 by a very famous musician and KISS Collector. He purchased these from Curt. Very sad he has yet to come forward and disprove these accusations.
